[sticky entry] Sticky: Characters

Please reply with some quick, vital stats about your character AU for this musebox.

Black jewels are limited to Daemon and Saetan, if someone decides to play one of them. Ebon-gray is reserved for Lucivar, though if you feel your character deserves that jewel, feel free to make the case.

Who: Loki and Max
Where: The Keep in Asgard
When: A long time ago (in a territory far far away...)
What: A gift from Hayll. A meeting. An alliance.
Warnings: Possible mentions of torture and sexual content

He'd thought... he'd hoped, that perhaps Asgard would be better. That maybe the corruption of Hayll had not extended this far and the Queen of the Territory would offer some measure of protection, playing along with the High Priestess to avoid Hayll's grasp.

A few hours in the Court had cured him of any such misconceptions. The Queen here was as much of a bitch as any in Hayll. The Court was full of sycophants and those who were cowed or broken. And here he was, being passed around like a sweet treat, a pretty gift from Dorothea to help buy loyalty.

By the time their party finally ends he is exhausted and sick feeling and sullen. Too many of them. Too many hands on him, too many eyes and he's left to find his way through the hallways to his assigned quarters alone.

Who: Wrath and anyone who would like to get to know her
Where: Near and in a village on the outskirts of Asgard
When: August 9-16
What: A new arrival to Asgard, a mysterious queen...
Warnings: Probably none?

Everything is hazy, even though her vision is sharp. She can see everything perfectly fine, thank you, the dusty farm road, the town in the distance, the trees that line a stream, looking sad and withered.

She should do something about those trees. She knows that like marrow in her bones. She can fix these sorts of things.

Wrath knows that her name is Wrath, but everything else is vaguely recalled details only. Where she came from, why she's on this road, she's not entirely sure. She must have been traveling, obviously. But why? No idea. The only other certainty she has is the rose jewel hanging around her neck on a pendant. That really feels more certain than anything else.

Curious, and wanting to be positive about things, she heads toward the town, though she takes a detour to the sad trees first. The land is sick and cries out, and she wants it to be less sad. Even if it takes more than a little of her blood to do that.

Teddy meets Sam

Who: Teddy and Sam (and anyone who wants to interrupt)
Where: Lands surrounding Asgard
When: July 24
What: Teddy finds a town ravaged by the Witch Storm. He's looking for a place to spend the night and discovers that the town isn't as deserted as he first thought.
Warnings: Violence and porn possible

Teddy arrived at the little village just as the sun was setting. He was weary and irritable having been travelling for the past three days without much rest. He had to keep moving. The image of his mother's death kept replaying in his head, haunting his steps. Not his mother - the woman who had raised him and kept him from the horrors that would have befallen him the moment he had descended to the Grey. His true mother had been long dead and all of the questions of his birth died the moment the assassin slit his adoptive mother's throat.

His stomach growled, reminding him that there was more important things than memories at the moment. He called a shield around him, hiding his wings from any who would still be in the village but the precaution was of little use. No one was here. The Storm had taken all of the Blood and those that didn't perish fled into the surrounding forest. He was alone, just as he had been when his journey began.

The houses stood silent with their doors barred. Teddy walked past until he saw one that had been pried open from the outside. He paused, uncertain why he felt drawn to this particular place but his grumbling stomach pushed all thoughts of concern from his mind. He entered the dark space, his eyes adjusting to the low light as he made his way to the kitchen. It was there that he heard a sound - a rat, possibly, but it could have been larger than a simple scavaging rodent. He walked quietly, the sounds growing closer until he saw a large, dark shape in the doorway to the pantry.

He should leave, find another abandoned house that wasn't quite so occupied but that same feeling that had drawn him to the doorway kept him from turning away. Without knowing why, he cleared his throat, alerting the other to his presence.

Welcome to Asgard

Who: Loki and anyone who is around (feel free to mingle)
Where: Asgard's Keep and surrounding lands
When: Say about a week's worth of time, July 19-26, pick a day
What: New people are beginning to arrive in Asgard in the wake of Loki's decision to ask Ebon Askavi. He's still not sure how he feels about this.
Warnings: Violence potential, please use trigger warnings and tag porn as applicable

Loki has only been back in Asgard for a few days, but he still can't shake the restlessness of having been gone. The keep doesn't feel safe to him, of course--it probably never will again--but Ebon Askavi had been frightening in its own right. The stress of the trip, of keeping himself in order and calm, has begun to take its toll.

And if he's done his job, new people will be arriving. He's anticipating that with a special sort of hope and horror mixed. The land must be healed. And he'll do whatever it takes to see that happen, even if it means kneeling to a Queen again. If he's lucky, maybe he won't survive the experience this time... so long as Asgard does. He'd knelt before the Lady of Ebon Askavi and... but it won't be her that's coming. If it was her, he'd almost be able to believe things would be all right.

But he'll just have to trust.

The keep is made as ready as it can be for visitors, cleaned and ready to be welcoming--as welcoming as anywhere can be in these troubled, untrusting times. Loki occupies himself in the gardens, though he studiously avoids the northern garden, and may disappear for some time in the western one. He also goes for long rides, watching for incursions from other territories, and waiting. Someone is just as likely to meet him on the road as they are in the keep.
